Job Description

Canadochly Rebar Supply is currently hiring experienced and dependable Iron Workers to join our team. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work depending on weather conditions and project timelines. 

In this role, you’ll play a key part in building and installing structural steel frameworks, ensuring projects meet design specifications and maintain the highest standards of safety and structural integrity. This position requires travel, with the possibility of extended stays out of town depending on job site locations. We service throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia.


Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
  • Accurately measure and calculate dimensions for layouts
  • Install and secure structural steel components to specification
  • Unload, stack, and organize steel materials at job sites
  • Cut, bend, and shape steel for accurate fitting
  • Perform quality checks and inspections during installation
  • Collaborate with fellow construction team members on site
  • Adhere to safety standards and operate tools and machinery responsibly
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
  • Follow instructions from Contractors and Canadochly General Foremen


Job Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from job sites
  • Available to work weekends and travel for extended periods as needed


Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Iron Worker or similar role in construction
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices
  • Proficiency with tools and equipment used in steelwork
  • Physical strength and stamina for lifting and working in various weather conditions
  • Effective communication skills to follow instructions and coordinate with crew members
  • Problem-solving skills to detect and resolve structural issues
  • Familiarity with Personal Protective Equipment
  • Authorization to work on federally funded job sites

In this role, you will assist in various tasks related to rebar installation and general construction, including material handling, site setup, assisting Iron Workers, and performing general labor duties such as operating basic tools and equipment. This position requires travel, with the possibility of extended stays out of town depending on job site locations. We service throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia.


Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and preparing job sites from hazards
  • Assist Ironworkers on-site
  • Cut, bend, and shape steel for accurate fitting
  • Unload, stack, and organize steel materials and equipment at job sites
  • Assist Ironworkers with setting up materials and equipment at job sites
  • Collaborate with fellow construction team members on site
  • Adhere to safety standards and operate tools and machinery responsibly
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
  • Preform routine inspection and preventative maintenance. Report defects and/or needed repairs to Canadochly General Foreman
  • Follow instructions from Contractors and Canadochly General Foremen

Administrative Assistant

Job Description

Canadochly Rebar Supply is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrator Assistant to support our growing team. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position based at our office with a flexible starting day between 8 to 9am.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day administrator functions, including maintaining employee records, coordinating onboarding and benefits, supporting payroll processes, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. You’ll work closely with management partners to support company growth, maintain compliance with employment regulations, and foster an organized, well-supported work environment.


Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collect and verify employee timesheets
  • Handle certified payroll reporting for public projects
  • Track PTO, sick leave, and employee attendance
  • Ensure payroll compliance with state, federal, and union or prevailing wage requirements
  • Maintain employee records, benefits information, and documentation
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Support HR tasks such as updating handbooks, compliance documents, and training records
  • Maintain organized digital and paper files for financial and HR documents
  • Answer phones and route calls or respond to inquiries
  • Order office supplies and coordinate with vendors as needed
  • Assist with worker’s compensation claims and insurance certificate tracking
  • Assist project managers with documentation, permits, and compliance reporting
  • Provide any additional Administrative Support to Canadochly staff when needed
